Does anyone know if the reproduction of Campy Record 10 components are the same as the original version in terms of quality and function?

For example, this set of 2013 reproduction Record 10 QS shifters (model EP7-REX). Looks legit, just wondering if real NOS would be any different.

Same. They are the 2008 models. Apparently they keep cranking a few out...

Interesting. I checked and Velomine has this on their website as well.

Now, as an option, if Campy would put 11 in that body........

Wow, this is the first I've heard of Campy making their old 10spd stuff. I remember trying to get a 10spd ratchet ring and was told campy was out of stock and there was no word on when they'd be back in stock.

I've heard they do small production runs of 10spd record ergos and derailleurs.

There is and aftermarket 11spd index ring. Oldpotatoe has one but last I knew, he had not tried it. I've debated buying one myself.

They are....MO/interweb does not the bike 'market' make. One 'local' MO place was saying Mavic no longer made 36h rims.?????

further searching yielded same……..but no user reviews.

I have a record 10 shifter in need of a rebuild. It would be neat if I could mod this too 11 but at this stage, I don't want to be the one to experiment……….I need to use my time wisely and ride.

I'm willing to experiment with my time, but not with my money at this point. A good user review may convince my to buy two.

This is the link from another forums, seen the videos posted since long time ago but never a real reviews of people that bought the part. At some point I even thought was a hoax or something.

Why not promote the product better you know, a simple web site and stuff.

Exactly. I think the 9/10 speed is the best ergo body to date.

I think it's great that Campy still produces some replacement shifters and parts for the older style shifters. And at a reasonable price. But I much prefer the latest style hoods. I would not go back.

BTW....they also still produce some mid 2000's Chorus 10 carbon rear deraillers. They are also very nice, and I like their looks better than the new style. Wonder what other NOS parts they still produce? Can think of at least 2.....the Centaur 111 and 115.5 BB and the Chorus 102 (fits record also), maybe some 111 Chorus/Record 111 asymetrical for triples still come out sometimes. Of course....old 8 and 9 cassettes still produced. And I see a lot of NOS square taper Centaur silver cranksets on E Bay.....almost too many to be just old stock.
