Been wrenching on his bikes since he was a junior..one of the truly good guys in the professional peloton.

I wish him luck and hope to see him riding for fun around the republic.

Have heard nothing but great things about the guy, and a shame some of the injuries he's faced over the last few years.

It's always good to see someone go out on their terms and pursue what they love. If that isn't the bike for him anymore, then good on him for chasing that next dream.

I think he had some more good years in him. It's got to be pretty insane being a pro racer with training constantly and traveling so much. I think he may have had an awakening.

Nice guy. He gave my son a Saxo Bank water bottle at the US Pro Road Championships in Chattanooga earlier this year.

It sounds like he has some great options to pursue with a family business and SKIING!!! in addition to his family. Good for him, but it's a shame to lose another american from the peloton. I am sure it's very difficult to be away so much of the year.
