There is a 55cm Nagasawa road on eBay with a story long enough to rival...well, my own prolixity! It's also a great color, though I think the pictures do little justice ('cause I think it's pink, bright pink). Have a look, these are rare and very special bikes. We may never see another new Nagasawa road bike in the USA, so this might be a chance. Holy verbiage Batman!

Thanks for the tip DBRK, I've got it on my watch list. So far it's in my price range too.

If you ask me how much this bike weighs I'm going to block you from ever bidding on any of my stuff and curse you to a life spent on Treks and Cannondales

My favorite line.

to purchase a frame to display? should all bikes be ridden? or do some elevate themselves to art, nothing wrong with that?

I could hang this thing on my wall without guilt!

Hmmmm. Having been outfaced rather than outbid on a Nagasawa track frame on ebay last week - every time I upped my bid the bloody system came back telling me that I had been outbid by the then highest bidder - I was (OK, selfishly, I admit) hoping that there wouldn't be much interweb chat about this bike. Expecting too much I suppose, particularly when it's such a great colour. Anyway, it's on my watch list as well, even though the identity and condition of the parts is something that the long story doesn't make very clear. Do your worst.... :)
