Yup, these ones...

These levers are great, the hoods not so much. It's been noted by others the hoods become soft and soppy, then split, and this has happened on one of my fixed gear bikes.

anyone know where to find replacements?

- Tektro are crap, don't list them as after market items
- Tektro USA and Tektro Australia are crap, don't reply to mails
- none of the usual suspects seems to list them as available items

any thoughts, good people?

Get the Cane Creek. They are the same (plus lizards).

Cheers!

Any of the Cane Creek SCR-5 replacement hoods found on ebay will work. But they'll have little lizards on them.

Yeah, fair enough. Thanks both.

Tektro ···· me at the moment, imagine not having these as replacements...

Mmm, tasty old-fasioned gum style too. Think I'll get a pair of those!

I had the same issue. I used an set of older Campy hoods just to see how they would fit. A little work with a razor to trim away the excess and better than new.

I just couldn't do lizards on my Mondonico.

i've used all sorts of levers.

gutted campy levers are by far my favorite, but these from TRP are excellent quality too. highly recommend if you're ready to dump those tektro junkers.
