I'll pass. For that kinda money I'd take a 5k dream bike and put the other 15k in my savings:D

I like the look... most (if not all) of the bamboo bikes that I have seen have joints that aren't natural... so this bike has that going for it for sure!

I visited his workshop in Kiba when I lived in Tokyo a few years ago. He had only made three of these at the time and I got to test ride the fourth. Very solid feel closer to carbon than steel or ti - everything was wood, including wheels, stem and handlebar, fork, seatpost, and saddle. Absolutely gorgeous and I was sorely tempted but could not really spare the ¥1,300,000 he was asking at the time (which included Campagnolo Super Record drivetrain and brakes).
