Topeak Smart Head Pressure Gauge?

I use a Joe Blow Pro pump with gauge attached. And I purchased one of their stand alone gauges for on the road applications.

Either the stand alone gauge isn't working right or the gauge on the pump is way off or some combination there of. I can't get them anywhere close to agreement on the same tire.

When the pump gauge registers 100 psi the stand alone gauge registers about 60.

Does anyone have one of these gauges and is there a trick to getting accurate readings?

yes, the secret is....patience....you wait until it beeps and then slowly put it in...I was shoving it on as quick as possible...not necessary and completely wrecking the reading. now I just gentle place it in there and it works fine.

I grabbed it because I was told how unreliable Silca pumps are....well mine is absolutely perfect!
