Came across this today and seems like a good enough deal to share:

Selle Anatomica - Any Saddle for $99 (http://www.selleanatomica.com/)

Been wanting to give one a shot for a while and the discount was too good to pass up.

There is a lot of romantic stuff said about Brooks saddles. They certainly "look" the part but even after a ton of mileage, the ones I have owned felt usable at best.

My butt shall do the judging here.

Theres no avoiding it though - that slot int he middle is pretty polarizing on the aesthetics.

American made, comfy from day one....I'm never going back to Brooks. These saddles are amazing and the service is top notch.

Which model do you use and how much do you weigh?

Titanico X, mahogany watershed. I've had this saddle since I started my weight loss efforts at 230lbs. Now down to 208 on my way to 180.

Ha! I'm also at about 208 on my way to 180.

Titantico is a derivation of Italian for large. The Titantico was originally Selle Anatomica's heavy duty version of their saddle for larger/heavier riders.

I bought one on last year's sale and used on my commuter until it was stolen a couple of weeks ago. As noted, pretty comfortable from day one. A couple of comments though: 1) I needed to play around a bit with the tilt -- it ended up being tilted "up" a bit more than other saddles I have and have used; 2) it definitely stretched a bit and needed to be retensioned after about 1000 miles or so; and 3) it made an annoying creaking sound after about 500 miles (it took me a couple of rides to realize it was the saddle) -- there are other posts re this -- the company sent me a nylon washer to install and the creaking went away. All in all pretty comfortable + would buy another.
