That's a beautiful bike. Is it hanging in Davidson's shop (Elliot Bay?). I saw lots of beautiful bikes hanging from the ceiling, but I don't remember that one - I wonder how many silver Moltenis were made.

I'm no expert but the frame in the OP link doesn't look like a De Rosa. Decal says "Belgium Hand Made"? Kessels?

The frame in the OP is an Early Merckx that may or may not have been brazed by Ugo. The Molteni bike is a De Rosa that was made for and decaled as Merckx when Eddy raced.

I believe Charles is asking for pictures of the first frames that Ugo brazed up when he helped set up the Merckx factory. The silver one may well be an Ugo brazed Merckx.

This photo from the OP stream made me think it's a Kessels frame. Didn't they make most of the Merckx frames?

correction: That's actually a Merckx Merckx isn't it? After he set up his own shop in Belgium (as explained). Now I get it.
