Any reviews on the Michelin Pro4 Service Course tire in 700x25mm?

I have been riding Michelin Pro Race(700x23) tires for a very long time with great results.

Recently I switched to a Vittoria Rubino Pro Tech tire, they claim 28mm but is actually 25mm with approx 95psi. So far I have been very impressed but have been reading about the Pro4 Service Course as being a nice balance between durability and performance.

Any feedback or comparison between the 2 tires would be appreciated.

I had the pro4 x 25 mounted on an older zipp 404 and there was almost no clearance on the rear of my Parlee. I realize that is quite a subjective statement but I believe they measured out to 27. something. That frame has easily accepted 25 conti 4000, Grand Prix, vitt evos and the specailized roubaix 23/25. I even mounted a vitt randoneur in the 28 size on a hed Belgium to see if it would clear and it had about the same clearance as a pro4. I know there was a thread on here where I had taken actual measurements of the inflated tire but I can't find it right now.

i have the 25mm pro4s on my pacentis and they do run about 27mm. the only tire i can compare them to is the gp4000S...the pro4 feels a little stickier and the 4000S is a little more durable.

I would agree with this.

I would rate the tires I use in this order…supple/stick and durability at opposite ends (hand in hand it seems):

Veloflex Master/Corsa

Schwalbe Ultremo ZX

Michelin Pro 4 SC
(I have very little time on these though, and am only going by feel/initial impressions)

Conti GP4000
