Apologize if this was discussed already but I searched and could find any. I need help in removing the bb so I can replace it. I was able to remove the non drive side with ease but the drive side is a different story. I know I am turning to the right direction, italian thread so counter clockwise right? I think it's threadlocked...? So how do I remove the bb cups if it's threadlocked?
TIA!

Are you positive it's Italian thread? Some Bianchis have BSC threading. But yes, if it's ITA, it's lefty-loosey.

If there's threadlocker on it, some heat may help (depends on which threadlocker). Putting a hair dryer on it for five minutes can't hurt.

Ultimately, putting the tool in a vise and using the frame for leverage tends to work well, but you'll want to be 100% sure it's Italian threading in that case.

What kind of BB? Square taper/fixed cup type?

If so, Campagnolo type tool or flats into vice, turn frame. You are sure it's the far superior Italian threading?

36by24 on the cup?

As has been mentioned, a bit of heat, if glued in.........big sigh.

Yup, italian. I will try the table vise method if heating does not work. Thanks guys!

Square taper, Campy record, not sure if it's fixed cup type...?

Yep that's what I've used. The last picture of the Long Beach article shows the Hozan tool.
