I picked up an early 70s all-chrome Atala track bike a few weeks ago for short money just as a fun way to get a vintage track machine built up. I got to the BB and discovered it's an 18-tooth spline interface when my BBT22 didn't fit, haha.
I've never seen an 18 tooth BB other than Phil before, but I'm not too familiar with old cartridge BBs (it still turns smoothly so I may just let sleeping dogs lie.) Any idea what it could be and where a tool might be found? I'll certainly check in at my LBS next week, but it sure seems like an oddball.
It had a Sugino Mighty Comp crankset on there, if that's a clue.
