Koga is displaying Leontien Van Moorsel's BT track bike as if it was one of their own. Is there something I'm missing? You don't see Trek displaying Lance's Lightspeed anywhere.

Do you remember the Rebellin 'Triple' from a few seasons ago? Wilier went on to brag about it's new Proto-Carbon Frame making th edifference and SCOTT came out from the background and said, "Nice frame you had repainted, I believe that is our CR-1".

Called them on it, hard.

I think this is more to honr their athlete, like what TT said.

In this age of outsourcing, since most bikes are made by some nameless Taiwanese or Chinese company....with the only real difference being the paint, decals and marketing hype, companies are quite accustomed to taking credit for a product made by somebody else. As time goes on the surprize at such actions increasingly turns to acceptance.
