Really, really nice day out at Peter's shop in NE CT. More lovely bikes than you can ogle at once, and a great group of people along with a really nice ride through beautiful country. Couldn't ask for a better Sunday.

Tons of photos from the event here (http://www.flickr.com/photos/sashae/sets/72157636800815866/).

Fabulous! If I wasn't at the Head of the Charles Regatta, I would have embraced my inner French fender fetish.

He usually sends out an email invitation each year.
Pretty much an open house.

Well, not exactly open house. He has somewhat limited parking. More like semi invitational IF you've got a great old french bike the odds go up greatly ;)

He makes his own racks and does his own paint. MANY advantages to this if you've got the skill set.

Peter's perspective on the sport is a refreshing diversion. When I see the machines that he builds, and others of the same fabric, I have the urge to go on those all-day exploratory rides that I did as a kid. No pretense, just fun, fun, fun. Thanks for sharing the photos!
