what's the deal here? anyone use one? i like the idea that the digital pressure gauge is going to be "more accurate" than the dial type. the dial type on most pumps don't strike me as precise instruments. i'm used to dealing with very accurate air pressure gauges from my motorcycle racing days.

i don't think i'm going to go any faster, i'd like to try and dial in my tire pressure just for fun.

Their non digital pump is phenomenal. Big fan.

I'm skeptical that they are extremely accurate. A good electronic tire gauge (like those used in auto racing) are $100-300. I'm not saying thry are not any good, I just wouldn't count on them being that much more accurate.

I noticed that the gauge in my new Lezyne floor pump seemed really off from the feel of my tires. I checked it against my other pumps and it was. I contacted Lezyne and they told me that gauges can be damaged from shipping and they sent me a new gauge with replacement instructions. This seems much more accurate but how accurate I'm not sure. Anyway, don't trust gauges to be exact.

I've had good luck with the Schwalbe Airmax Pro

Along those lines -- I bought one of these (http://www.cxmagazine.com/craftsman-cordless-inflator-dials-psi-presta-tires-minimal-conversion) for my husband for Christmas and it changed his life. He said it was the best present ever (especially after he outfitted it with a Hirame pump head.)
