Hi All. I've got an 11 speed SRAM crankset with Yaw chainrings that I'd like to use on my 10 speed SRAM drivetrain with a non Yaw FD.

I know the Campy users out there have been using this type of configuration without a hitch, but I'd like to see if there are any SRAM or even Shimano users out there with a similar setup.

You'll be fine. Not noisy like 10 to 11. Shifting is good.

Using 11s crank with otherwise 10s system no problem but with most SRAM , get a 6700 fd for better shifting.

I went with a 10sp Force FD. I figured it would pair better than Red's Ti cage.

Ah yes, the first-gen Red FD...Shifts like it's made of butter.

The "updated" version they sent the Conti squad I rode with was just a Force that said Red, and worked nominally better.

But yeah, as a good rule of thumb, most 11-speed stuff plays nice with 10. 10 speed, however, does not always play nice with 11. That said, my Campy EPS kit worked magnificently with Shimano/SRAM 10-speed wheels.
