Got the first scratch on my once pristine MX Leader this morning....painful, sad, what to cry. Scratch is on the red part of the Motorola Team paint job. Wondering how to do a proper touch up (prep, what kind of paint, how to apply, etc).

I've done plenty of crappy touch-ups but want to do this one right.

Thanks.

I always screw those up. Always looks like a dollop of nail polish.

Don't think I have ever heard or seen it better done than this:

Fantastic. Drive has a lot of good videos but I had not seen that one yet.

That is a great video. I always butcher it,I will give his technique a try next time.

the first scratch is a gift; it makes the second scratch meaningless. why would you cover it up? ride it for another week and it won't bug you anymore

Just what I was looking for - great video. Thanks Eddief!

I don't generally worry about scratches and nicks on my bikes, but this bike is different - bought last year as NOS MX Leader and it's my dream bike. Also, it's steel so would hate to see any rust start showing up.
