As I recall, Shimano was going to introduce their 50/34 compact crank this month. Does anyone have any updated info on the introduction of the crank?
Not so compact but rather cranky,

Sandy the cranks will not be labeled and according to shimano they
will be Ultegra quality. They should be shipping sometime in Feb. or
if you have a special contact at shimano it could be possible to get
one if you really really beg.

Many of the UK mailorder houses are showing the Shimano Compact Cranks available. I haven't seen them in the US yet.

Sandy, I have had the FSA compact crank for about 3500 miles and it has been great. Since we ride roughly the same size bike, you are welcome to try my Legend ST the next time I see you. It has Shi 10 speed except for compact crank. (Same one I had at open house last year)
