Anyone on this forum ride in Victoria?Looking for some quiet roads to do 2-4 hr rides?

There are many great roads/trails for riding on the island. I don't live in Victoria but around Mill Bay is nice. The whole Cowichan Valley is beautiful. Up toward Shawnigan lake is great too.

If you really want to stay away from traffic you've got the Lochside trail out to the ferry and back and the Galloping Goose trail out to Sooke. You can stay on both near entirely as bike path, but some parts it's just more convenient to go on the road.

I imagine the Goose to Sooke must have it's share of unpaved sections

Hey - I have family in Deep Cove and ride there when visiting from Van. Nice rollers and quiet roads. PM me if you need more info and a couple route ideas.
