Another bit from a project that never materialized. Here's the rub: a meathead mechanic (me) tapped the drive side axel a bit too much when removing the freehub, and tapped the bit the dropout sits on so that it went into the axel sleeve (see pic). The axel is threaded on the inside, so someone with the right tools or basic mechanical ingenuity could probably pull it back out. If you can, it's a cheap way to get an awesome hub. Bearings are smooth. Finish is clean. Yes it's mango/orange not gold.
