I hate that they call that a Madone SL, though, as much as I love cyclingnews.com, it may have been a technical error on their part. THey make little errors like that sometimes.
It's Super cool, but the main triangle is from their 5000-series (original mold) and this does not use the integrated headtube-Toptube of the Madone that makes it a madone. Also the rear stays are from the 2000 series (aluminum w/carbon rear).
Whatever. That said, it's super cool. I hope it does the trick and George gets where he needs. I do like the '06 team paintjob preview hanging in the background!

so it looks like the goal is to have a bike with a really stiff rear and yet offer a cushy ride. softride always does this. better than any of the rest, simply be separating the rear triangle from the seat.

I do not think a Softride is UCI legal in design. For the rest of us however..... :beer:
