How is this worth $129? Is scrap TI worth $50/lbs?

The pictures illustrate strange welds around the BB. I have seen no evidence of failure around Merlin BB's around this time period. The dropouts look unusual as well.

I wonder how long he rode it after the first crack started to break all those tubes.

I never scrapped any Ti, but I've seen Ron Andrews's little boxes of cage scraps bring $20 on ebay.
