Cinelli 26.4 dia options

What is the possible "down side " to using this on a 26.4 Cinelli bar? Current stem is Cinelli Oyster and is 120 length and I need 80/90. Having the option to not strip the bars is a definate plus. Having a VERY hard time finding a Cinelli anything in 80/90 but for some high priced 1A's.

I've made 25.4 into 26.0 and 26.0 into 26.4 before. I have adjustable reamers with blades that can cut them larger. I don't recommend doing it if you have never done it before. But it can and has been done.

I have a 70 mm 1A if that will work.
