Original. The soft hoods are comfy, but they are also floppy and spooge around on the levers. I could never keep them in place.
YMMV

Yes, original. Bought some for my wife's 3rd gen Campy levers and although basically fine and perfectly functional they do not fit as cleanly as Campy hoods.

In my opinion, neither. They're both crap. Hard version is less crappy, but still crap.

Oh, and YMMV.

I really don't mind the originals (V3). Wish Campys came in colors.

Are most of the problems fit related?

I could not keep the original ones from slipping on my DA 7900 levers. They lasted a week before I replaced them with OEM hoods. If you use DA 7900 and want a see if Hudz will work for you let me know. They are black.

the soft ones are too soft and flimsy. Mine snapped at the bottom twice.

Stiff wins

I'm going through this now. Super soft, but will NOT stay in place at all. It's for sram, not campy, so I can't say as to the campy problem. But I've had to stop multiple times during a ride to fix them. It's so irritating. They suck, prob one of the worst designed products I've ever used.
