I came across this website that offers road side assistance for bicycle breakdowns, similar to the Automobile Club.

I can just picture the faces of my buddies on our next group ride when I get a flat and call for my own personal SAG wagon. Of course, for $40 per year it does provide a little piece of mind if you have a significant mechanical failure on a solo ride and the spouse is not around to pick you up.

I wonder if the same benefit can be had from figuring out what taxi services have cars capable of fitting the bike ahead of time. A taxi might come faster and would take you where you want to go.

OnStar installed on the Calfee.

I just installed the ventilated saddle (heated in winter and cooled in summer) and the heated handlebar. Perhaps I will get OnStar for my birthday. :D
