Orbea looks to be in a tough position. Without their Euskatel association they will have a hard time rising above the din.

I wonder if Specialized would let Contador go. It's a gamble with a sure $1MM payoff that he won't attain prior heights.

It has been well known for a long time what Contador gets paid and I suspect that it is not much different than what other major contenders are getting.

Interesting because samuel sanchez said yesterday in an interview that he did not know anything about any move between contador and the new team. He recognized that there is a lot of speculation because a lot of things aren't defined yet. The only thing I don't like of contador joining euzkadi is that they don't have riders to support contador the way he needs, a climbers team where nobody can climb, so not even think in TT or even super tough riders.

Will be interesting the way this will resolve.
