Anyone else received this email - any idea what it is all about?

I've been using Garmin Connect for the last several years, and I did not receive the email. Sounds kind of funny to me. I would not click the link. But if there is a suit against Garmin, I hope Garmin wins.

Span?

It was circulated by SurveyMonkey and looked to be legit to me.

I did complete the monkeysurvey - I was not questioning the validity of the email, rather seeing input as to its purpose/intent (i.e. what is the suit all about).

Looks like a patent troll just looking for money - not sure I want to help them.

I think a growing use for Garmin Connect is to make things like Humana Fit to Humana Vitality work. A real growing trend in employer provided medical insurance is linking premiums to wellness program participation. I think little software tools like this will really grow in usage over time.

I received it too but didn't participate since it was not from Garmin.

The email derived from a @garmin.com email. If it wasn't from them, someone is trying hard to fake it.
