Impressions on new Assos jackets

Local retailer suggested I wait until the EuroBike announcement of their new products. Not sure what I expected and to be honest not really sure what to think of them.

Seriously cringing after seeing shaqUno was the name they picked for the one new jacket that would be interesting to me. I want to like it. Sounds like it will have a racier cut to it and be reasonably versatile.

I already have a Rapha Pro Team Race Cape so the rS.sturmPrinz EVO would be redundant. They seem very similar if you are blind or don't mind the styling of the Assos.

Don't know about "jumped the shark" CDM (!), but like you I have older jackets: both an 851 and Fugujak. Love them! Curious as to whether the new jackets are somehow lighter and just as warm. The Fugujak, as many have said in other threads, is almost too warm except on sub-35 days, but its "heavy" and somewhat bulky. Still, keeps me plenty warm.
