One (tiny) silver lining for me of all the happenings at Serotta is that it has gotten me back on this board.

Who else is in the SF Bay Area?

Maybe we could get together for a ride? Maybe we already do, but don't
know each other's login.

Live in Berkeley, work in SF. But be warned - I'm slow as molasses on hills, and slow as slightly diluted molasses on the flats. And that is not an exagerration.

Stef is working at Biergarten.
Aaron is blogging (http://nellanoraa.wordpress.com), and about to start his own company.

Ari is stressed and working his butt off, but has two new guys working. I have met one, Tristan, who is a good guy, knows bikes and "gets it."

I am a newcomer to this forum, work downtown SF, live in Oakland, would love to be able to ride to work!

Of course, I can't ride one of my bikes now, a Look 585, because I was hit by a car and the fork snapped. I wanted to post a WTB ad for a Look hsc fork, but you are prevented from doing so til you have 30 posts. 29 more to go!

all rides start at the bridge. every now and then I go down to the canada road. but many groups start at the bridge and canada road.

I remember a few years ago I was riding out off alpine dam and someone had forum kit on and was riding with some other forumites...one of the guys was on a old junk bike (30 pounds and old centerpull brakes stem shifters and a kickstand) and I was really impressed he was able to get his butt out there!

By the way, I'm going on a group ride from the Bespoke Shop (Clay between Scott & Divisadero) tomorrow at 9;15. We cross the bridge & do about 60 miles, no drop (unless you want to turn around), all levels (we regroup).

All are welcome to join. We usually are gone before 9:30.
