Forks with alu dropouts?

I've been using a Wound Up fork on one bike for about three years. no real issues there, but the dropout tarnishes over time. are carbon and alu a good mix over time?

My next bike has a choice of either ti dropouts for a 25mm max tire, or alu dropouts for a 30mm max tire.

What's going on at the dropouts of an Enve road fork? Any metal down there, or just carbon reinforcement?

What's wrong with the wound up? Feel like any metal is going to have some aging as it gets older.

If you're gettin rid of it and its 1" let me know.

I have a Look 585 and its dropouts are all carbon. I was worried about wear. But after many thousands of miles, yes, there are indents from the serrated edges of the wheel hubs, but they are minor, and all is well.

Apparently, they provide some sort of additional hardening process to the drop outs. Just don't want to put the wheel on loose and go for long ride, with the hub moving around the drop-outs, "sanding" them down.
