Is there a *free* program out there that will graph your Garmin performance data then allow you to parse out certain sections of that data for analysis? I do 3.6 mile intervals on a local hill and I'd like to see the mean HR/PWR/CAD/SP/ data for just the section between spool up and wind down. I could probably do it with the lap button but I'm usually too shot to turn it off.

If not that, CycleOps Power Agent works well too.

it works but I find it way more challenging to use than WKO+

WKO+ is deadly expensive.

WKO+ is deadly expensive.

130 bucks is "deadly" ?

And you can run it on Mac....if you are able to run windows on your Mac...but I get what your saying :)

Not to drag the Strava discussion over to this thread, but it does work well for this kind of thing. You could make the segment "Private" if you wish. Doesn't show cadence, though.

Here's an example from a segment I've ridden ~80 times...the entries without a lightning bolt graphic were ridden without a power meter.

You don't have to stop/start laps, it's done automatically.

I had Power Agent for a while and never messed with it. It looked a bit crude and didn't have much in the way of instructions so I blew it off. It's actually pretty darn good. It does what I want it to. Thanks.

This may not be totally on target but I am a Garmin Connect user for my 800 data and I downloaded an app for my iPad called ConnectStats that is great and way better than the analysis tools for Garmin Connect.

If you have an iPad/iPhone it is a good tool. The graphs are great and I don't have power and don't often use heartrate.
