Hello everyone. I did a search on this subject of hernias here on the forum and learned quite a bit just reading archived threads. A special thanks to BBD's experiences as it allowed me to brace myself for what was to come the days leading up to my surgery and after. Well it's been nine days after my day surgery and the steri strips are still on but the bruising around my belly button feels a lot better and best of all I managed a ride today on my Raliegh road bike. I tried a ride on day four post op and it was unfortunately a bit too soon. Halfway through the event I just felt a burning discomfort. Proud to say that wasn't the case this time around.
Hernia's are interesting, I never had surgery before and that was a experience. Feels good to be riding my bike. We have some nice dry sunny weather here in New England. Hope your all enjoying yours.
