Inspired by the steel part ∞ thread that was started by Agilis-pal, I thought we can start a thread that allows members to share their fav wallpapers. To help reduce the clutter:

A) please restrict to only cycling-related

and

B) your all-time favorites.

I will start...

That day the GGB was closed for the peloton - the 2nd closure ever.
One of my favorite local climbs.
Back from the ocean up through the redwoods.
Making the 15-18% section look flat.

As much as I love good scenery and often use it as wallpaper, this is my favorite cycling photo ever....

I was glad to see Cadel finally act like he wanted to win bike races during the Giro in 2010.

Sadly, I think his days are numbered.

I noticed that. I think it's been doctored to make it look scarier than it really is.

No. Here's another shot, tilted the other way:

Assuming that really does exist, wouldn't it be additionally mind-blowing if the only thing up on that plateau were that one house, and that road is simply one (presumably rich) guy's driveway?

Imagine the plowing job in the winter. Might as well take the helicopter (or the zip line) down.

And the wealthy guy only drives an Acura Integra--lovingly hand-waxed each day by his old family butler Alfred? Am I right?

Almost correct. I do live at the end of a steep hill, but not quite that steep, and not quite that long. And it's been a loooong time since the Integra saw any wax. That's why the Paint Gods created clear coat... ;)

Ca existe. That segment is called les Lacets de Montvernier, and it is part of the col de Chaussy (http://www.climbbybike.com/climb.asp?Col=Col-de-Chaussy&qryMountainID=5955); it's near St. Jean de Maurienne in the French Alps.

My brother rode it last year, and sent me this report:
The next morning I was out on the road at 8, ready to tackle the 14 km and 1043 vertical meters of the Col du Chaussy, which starts with 17 impressive switchbacks crammed into only 3 km up a cliff. I tried hard to photograph the stack, but the vegetation would only allow me to get a few of them. I include an internet photo so you can get the idea. After the initial section of switchbacks, the road becomes a more conventional mountain climb through tiny villages and pastures up to the top at 1533 meters.

It's amazing that given the overall situation, that was the most appropriate way to get up there.
