For those in the know, the above devices are all an effort in the direction that has been laid out by the Quantified Self (http://quantifiedself.com/) movement. At any rate, I've briefly tried to acquaint myself with the goings on of this movement by going to a couple of meetups, etc. That still leaves my awareness at an elemental level, but I'm beginning to see some motivations for the hasty development this area is witnessing. In any case, I then came across this podcast (Link (www.bbc.co.uk/podcasts/series/analysis#playepisode7) - this is the June 10, 2013 podcast in case it didn't start playing already) a few days back, and I finally got round to listening to it on my morning ride.
