Can I get a recommendation for truing wheels in the New Brighton, MN area?

Think NB is 10-15miles NW of Minnie.

Best bet is at Flanders Brothers in the Lyn-Lake area. They are the pros!

Jim Thill. Hiawatha cyclery. He's built a couple of sets of wheels for me and I have nothing but good things to say about them. They've seen dirt, gravel and anything else I can throw at them and they still run true.

Both of these are worth the visit alone.

+1 on Angry Catfish.

Get great work done on your wheels, while browsing the shop with an excellent cappuccino. And don't forget to stop at The Baker's Wife on the corner.

......and if you happen to fly fish like I do, there is a fantastic new fly shop around the corner called Mend Provisions!

Sorry, had to throw that in.

Yep. My only fishing is at the grocery store, but Mend Provisions is an awesome looking shop run by cool people.

THanks for all the tips. I will pass info on to my wobbly wheeled buddy.

Just be careful about Grand Performance -- it is in St. Paul and you might need a visa to cross the river! :)

Lots of props on Angry Catfish as well -- great shop and coffee. Check out the Pegoretti on the wall.

Should you get stopped at the border, feel free to mention my name.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. :)

Fwiw I make this perilous journey into Mpls./Hennepin county on a daily basis.

Just about every one of my riding routes ends at Surly or Fulton brewing.

Just kidding. :)
