After tearing his ACL and missing an entire football season, the wife won't let him ride a motorcycle anymore. :bike:

Good for him - I hope he does well this year. It sure does sound like he's been bitten by the bug. Now he just needs to join the forum, buy a few more bikes, and he'll be all set for "retirement" in a few years.

I posted that on the Top Gear thread. It's great to see athletes from other sports get into cycling (even if he's on a Specialized).

for cycling: A 6'4", 220 lb. tattoed tough guy, on a road bike. The sport needs more acceptance from:
-most Americans
-drivers
-people who need more exercise (see #1 above)
-it does not hurt at all to have this kind of exposure in the NFL fan base.

I like his choice of bike. And wheels. :)

Points if you can ID his shoes.

Bonds was been bitten by the cycling bug a couple years back. This pic with him was from the TOC earlier this year but he's been spotted at the TdF and other EU pro tours cheering on riders.
