I'll be first.... "but lie detector tests are unreliable", "he had training to beat the test", "Dr Ferrari can also pass a test", "did they ask him if he has large hair as a control question?" etc etc. When will the cyclists learn, they can NEVER win. Insert smilie here.

honest question: is there a drug you can take to help beat a lie detector test? quaaludes? valium?

This is not my commentary on Marcel. I sure hope he is clean, but who can pass up an opportunity to get some Seinfeld into the discussion?

beta blockers most commonly are used

The answer is yes, obviously. The question is what brand he's wearing.

. . . and no pun intended.

The reliability of a lie detector test is based on the subject knowing they are lying. If the subject truly believes what they are answering istrue, then they will not exhibit the bio markers of conscious lyig that the test is designed to detect.

If Kittel had been doped wihout his knowledge then he would really think he's telling the truth when he denies it during the test.

No please don't laugh but when I was younger, so much younger than today I really wanted to be Vanilla Ice. I know all the lyrics to all his songs, and my all I mean only as it was only this one.

Kittel didn't take a lie detector test, because as noted here, there is no such thing as a lie detector test. What Kittel took was a polygraph test, which simply measures bio indicators (which must be interpreted by the operator). Polygraph tests may sometimes help in determining if the individual believes what they are saying is true, but they are far from reliable.

if he took this test then Herr Kittel must be feeling the heat.

i think he's either going to fail a test some time in the next two years, or his performances will fall away.

Cav seems to have a tone in his voice that says "i know what's going on, but i can't say".
