Beginning the build out today. I should have this on the road next weekend. Installing a new drive line and wheels. I will post as it comes along.
This should be a great ride when it is done.

Oh thank heaven for 7-11...
I'm somewhat jealous of your work area. Oh, maybe the bike too.

One big step is done. That is getting started. One thing I like about building up my bike is the little things that don't get skipped. I noticed the RD and cranks were not spotless. So I cleaned them to their original shine before installing.

Absolutely beautiful. Who did that paint?
Another question: is the tubeset for a CSI the same as for a CRL?

That was a stock CSI paint job once upon a time I recall.
The CRL was the predecessor to the CSI. Both sweet sweet bikes.

Soooo nice.
Can I have some more, please? :)
I see alloy. Nice! I regret going black and dark grey when I recently updated my CSI to Ultegra 10 speed from its original Record 8 speed. I may have to swap it for new alloy Athena. Good luck with the build!

Getting closer.
I have to pick a seat post. Thinking about a silver Thomson or Nitto.

I really like where this is going. I vote a nitto seatpost. It will match the stem better thn a Thomson.

I purchased one of these I'm very impressed with especially considering the price.

the nitto is nice, another option for the seatpost might be a dura ace ex.
