I like (http://jonnycycles.com/)

I'm from this area (Madison, WI), anybody familiar with these frames. I've seen his web page before--but now I'm interested.

Comments?

I'm the proud owner of this one (SN 21):

[and yes, I'm insulted you didn't pick it!]

I was living in Madison last year and knew Jon pretty well from bike circles. I learned he was frame building, decided to have a rando bike made, and got engaged in quick succession. It was a no-brainer to have him make a 'wedding bike' for me (that is, get it grandfathered in before my wife gets any financial say!). I was excited about working with a local framebuilder and don't regret it in the least.

Jon's easily the nicest guy I've ever worked with. He spends way too much time on details for bikes (i.e. all of the rack and fender mounts on my frame, the custom pump pegs on the seat stay). His painter (who I also know) is a great guy. If nothing else, Jon really busted his butt to get the frame put together in time for my wedding and 'bachelor ride' -- hence the picture with it built but unpainted:

As a bike messenger, Jon's making a good name for himself in the road fixie world -- he's provided a few prize frames for Midwestern messenger events, for example.

Anything else you want to know? If you talk to him, say Aaron sent ya.

Sure, if ya like. It might take me a while due to the holidays ...

Or we can have it out in public, you know, for the record.

Remember this is Madison, after all. It ain't the mean streets of Milwaukee!

The blue fixie (the one link which is different from the others) is Jon's personal bike.
