Hi-

It's an odd day to be asking questions about acquiring a Serotta, I know.

Got the option to pickup a pretty sweet 1993 Legend TG from a pal.

Threw some wheels on the other day just to check clearance, and it looks like my Mich PR3 25s will fit ok.

But, if anyone out there in Serottaland can tell me for sure what will and won't work, I'd certainly be thankful.

thanks in advance,
paul

ps-searched some older threads here first, couldn't find an answer

I had a 1992/93 Colorado LT and 28s fit fine.

2007 Fierte IT is my main ride and 28s also fit fine.

Bunch of times 28s tires run more like 27ish so 25s definitely will fit and 28s probably won't be a problem either.

what fork does it have, that's likely to be the limiting factor.

As far as I know, it's the stock unicrown model.

Also--thanks everybody.

Many older Legends had Serotta F1 forks and they will barely clear 700x25 tires before the tire rubs on the bottom of the fork "crotch". A steel fork would have a bit more clearance. If you have an aluminum fork I have no idea what fits.
