So <burp> what are my fellow <burp> Serotta owners doing for miles/week at <burp> this time of year?
And what are your thoughts <burp> on the new low calorie <burp> beers being introduced lately??

I just got my road bike together a week and a half ago, but "normal" is looking like 2 days a week--6 miles total commuting, 3 days a week--25-30 including commuting and lunch ride, weekends 80 to 120, giving something in the upper 100s.
Now, let's just see if that sticks.

I have my base 1000 in so far, but last weekend proved that is not enough. I did my first race last Sunday. I finished, but the 25 plus mile an hour winds really won.:crap: Oh well it is a long season
So, do you think 50 miles on the old bike will be too far for the first outdoor ride? I've been riding about an hour a day on the trainer in the cellar, long days about an hour and a half. The deal is that I need to get to the shop to look at bars, the Eastons I ordered were changed this year and they didn't want to just slap and wrap without me deciding if they were OK or, if they weren't, ordering different ones.

I'm only able to ride Saturday & Sunday due to travel for work, My normal W/E rides are 40 to 50 miles per day this time of year.
I also do a couple of hours during the week on an exercycle at the hotel during the week.

About 420, including 100 in the coldest Boston January since about 1890, and 9 days off the bike while on vacation in February.
January 16, 9 degrees, 20 MPH wind. It was a short ride :)

Indoors on Life Cycle approx. 4 hours/week
Outdoors on the road approx. 120 miles/week
I refuse to drink "diet beer".
does time spent on this forum count?
Cast came off a couple of days ago (in favor of something they call an "air-cast"--basically, a glorified splint) but I still need the crutches and still cannot ride.

270-300 through the winter. TimD - You are my hero for the day. Wait, that's "per" week yah?
Light beer????? What in Sam Hill is that???? You are kidding right?
Too Tall,
Per week? No, those are aggregate numbers, mostly from lunchtime rides. Work and family life limit me to about 150 / week tops, not that my buttocks are complaining.

a triple threat...
I've logged just under 1,000 miles. Living in southeastern Florida does have its advantages, especially during the winter season!
