Looks like our very own E-Richie-san has made the big time.

Those guys over a competitivecyclist.com (a great bunch of folks by the way)
Had some nice things to say about some of our favorite framebuilders in their
pegoretti section.

Have a look:

I knew he'd make it to the big time if he stuck with it long enough.

The Competitive Cyclist text is fantastic. Who writes this stuff?

The subtle drops of deep cycling, euro-culture references.

I usually learn something about something.

If you read enough of it, you start to wonder. It's kinda scary. Is this just marketing speak directed at an ultra-niche = us?!

It's kinda evil!

More great stories too
Pinarello Granfondo:

Interbike:

That Pinarello piece (warning: very very long) is awesome.
It got me completely! All the romance of what I love about cycling.
Cool suits, Italian coffee, and great riding! Those guys really "get" it.

"Sachs, Nagasawa, Pegoretti -- their names are interchangeable when you speak of intensity about frame design and brilliant execution. If you own a frame from any one of them, from a cyclist's point of view you've had one heck of a good life."

I once wrote to Richard after receipt of my bike "As I cruise along, I look down at the deep red top tube and fork crown and get a warm fuzzy feeling: life is good!! "

I'm glad the boys at CC agree.

Wurd. That's what I meant to say. It's eerily familiar. Hey, I ain't paranoid, but someone's writing this sh*t for me! I don't even buy much stuff (certainly no super expensive bikes).

Is that ad copy lackey among us now?! Spooky.
