NorCal Early Birds

Is there anyone attending the Early Bird Crits or Road Race in the south bay area...Looking for someone to ride with...first race season for myself...set a goal for Cat 5 to Cat 3 by years end.

Also anyone involved with Alto Velo club or Los Gatos RR club.

really?- The Nor Cal season is so long that I am always amazed that people feel the need to start racing in January. Dumb industrial park crits or road races with black ice at that. My suggestion is to spend January working on your base a bit more. You can start in earnest 1st or 2nd week of February and race until October.

For those of us involved in the collegiate season, the racing starts early mid-late Feb). We (Stanford) use the early birds as a jump-start and a crit training camp for newbs. Sketchy? Yep, they're sketchy.
