Pretty luxurious. I especially like the built-in washer & dryer!

Anyone else looking for one of those red "Sharps/Biohazard" containers that you see in hospitals hanging on the wall? ;)

Given that they don't stay in the same hotel for more than one night (except for the rest days) the bus is pretty nice as a sort of second home.

Curious if this is on par with other team buses or significantly nicer.

I do like that darkish grey that it is painted. Like it much better actually than their black kit.

most of the WorldTour/ProTeam (whatever UCI is calling top level these days) buses are pretty similar from the photos i've seen, all pretty nice.

Maybe I should refurb the interior of my motor home to look like that.

Anyone notice the "meeting room" had the thickest blinds and a place to lie down for...recouping I bet! ;)

Not that I am implying anything.

I'll bet the AC works better than in the Orica Green Edge bus....

I heard that Orica had a spare million dollar bus waiting - as a spare, and was used after the stage 1 incident.

OT: I'd love to find a pair of those light blue Sidi Wire that Froome had.

Most teams have impressive busses, but Sky takes care of every detail in all areas - AMG - aggregation of marginal gains.

Replacing the hotel mattresses and pillows with specific mattresses and pillows for each rider at every hotel is impressive.

I bet Merckx didn't require that sort of coddling.

If your guy gets a good nights sleep and his rival doesn't ...advantage wouldn't you say.

IIRC, there was some reporting last year that Sky was bringing portable a/c units to the hotels as well. I bet the a/c made a bigger difference than the mattresses.

Given the amount of riding they do per stage I'd be amazed if they had any trouble getting to sleep and staying asleep.

A related story:

Once last year I was really, really beat after a hot ride. I took off my shorts and jersey, replaced them with boxers and a t-shirt, ate supper, brushed my teeth, then took a dirty sheet from the hamper, put it on the floor next to my bed (carpeted area), took a pillowcase from the hamper, stuffed some dirty clothes in, and fell asleep in about 10 seconds. I didn't wake up until my cats started to pester me for breakfast the next morning.

In today's day of well paid sports stars, this is relatively low end transportation. i.e. golf or tennis.

These days, a million dollar bus is likely a spare for these guys.

Marathon Coach has its world headquarters about a mile from my home. Over the years I've wandered through several in-production and completed coaches. $2 million and up. Extremely impressive products, with every detail of every one built custom to order.

Pfft.

That RV comes with a little kid stuffed under the main living area? Hmmm...
