I was just thinking that there's some regular members from the old forum who never came over. Maybe they changed names?
Two I can think of are (tandem) Josh and Mathew.

Maybe they got a flat and dropped off the back. Should we stop and wait for them?

Nah!

I think many changed their names as Tandem Josh is the only Josh I know that kicks butt on a tandem aka Too Tall .

Where's Peter North, and Ulique Madique?

Sandy

I think that for my personal sanity and others on the new forum, we should tell Carbon Calfee Kevan that the new forum is closed and he must post again on the old forum. Since no one ever responds to his posts anyway, he could be there for several years without knowing about the change.

Peter North is part of the reason the old forum died! Good riddance to him and other trolls like him!

Sandy,

At your request I have decided to use the new forum. Please take it easy on me until I get the hang of it. What are these bananas for?

Those bananas mean that you're happy to see us.

Or so I'm told

JohnS. If you lost them maybe you should check under the floor mats?

And Yes! Kane was a great resource. Unfortunately the email I had for him is either lost in the ether or doesn't doesn't work. I hope he's ok and riding! He is a great resource.

the cast of characters like Charlie Fletcher ( passionate but a bit long winded) and one of his antagonists Dr Bones. Here's one such favorite moment:

It didn't take much to push Charlie's buttons. Here Bones does a very good Fletcher vs. Lemonde race commentary:

What color is your Legend? Do you have a pic yet to post to the gallery so we can drool all over it?

It’s OK. It’s titanium and will not rust from the drool!

i have to tell you, most of you guys crack me up. i hesitate to mention, i may have even learned a thing or two. i certainly learned enough to order a perfect bike. i have lurked for quite a while.

if you've learned a thing or two, then some of us haven't been doing our job right. as they used to say on seinfeld, no group hugs and no learning anything.

molly,
have you learned that tubulars are better than clinchers yet?
that mavic open pro wheels will always be the overall best choice?
that carbon seatposts dont make a difference?

If yes, and if you can catch fly with chopsticks, then you are ready.

Molly22! Welcome A-board. Congratulations on your new bike!

bbd: it's 1/2 paint, white with blue decals, the fork is also painted white.

bd: i'm afraid i'm not yet ready for the fly, i guess, i don't know about clinchers vs tubular...there is so much to learn and so little time.
