Unbelievable. How does he "need" a road bike either for college or because college will be a drain on his funds. If he really needs one, he can buy the $100 stuff at target or wal-mart. A quick look at his purchase history shows that he's made at least purchases over $100 in the last month or so and on iphone stuff?!

I can't take people like this seriously. You can afford an iphone and the subsequent bills, but you aren't willing to forgo that, save some money and buy that bike yourself?

Whatever happened to a hard day's work to earn money?

If it goes for a price too low that bike will be stolen or the seller will find suddenly a crack somewhere and he wont be able to ship it like that and the deal will be called off.
