Beautiful all around bicycle. Lugged steel frame, Standard Rivendell build includes 26" wheels, Shimano 7 speed with Deore rear, Sugino XT triple, bar end shifters. Paint in very good condition. More information at http://www.rivbike.com/Rivendell-Atlantis-p/f-atlantis.htm.

Who knows how Rivendell measures their bicycles. The first picture is the top tube C2C, the second the seat tube C2C. You can do the metric conversion.

Nice bike. Is it an official Riv 54.5 or did you measure the seat tube as 54.5?

This may have the geometry. See 54.5 size.
OP please correct if this is misinformation.

Rivendell measures C-t-T on the seat tube, and looking at the measurement, the seat tube appears to be slightly longer than 22" which translates to a 56 (at 22" you're looking at a 55.8 cm measurement)

From my experience with Riv, Grant would typically put someone on one size bigger (maybe two depending) of his bikes than you would normally ride...

Good info on Grant's sizing philosophies here:
http://www.rivbike.com/kb_results.asp?cat=23

BTW- I hope this doesn't start a Grant hate thread, it just seems relevant for the thread since there were questions on sizing...

All the Rivs I have seen have the "official" size stamped into the bottom bracket shell. If you post that number interested parties can read the specs off the Riv chart and use the Riv sizing guide as well to decide if this bike is the right size for them.

FWIW we have a Riv Allrounder which is very much like an Atlantis, a Rambouillet and the last prototype of the Romulus before they finalized the design and started the production frames/forks.
