Telling the age of a Calfee

Is there anyway to tell the age of a Calfee?
Does the series number provide any clues?

Cut it in half and count the rings like you do with a tree.

In all seriousness call Calfee with the SN.

Radiocarbon dating is more accurate :p

Call them. I had one custom made for someone else and called them with the SN and were super responsive and friendly.

SN should be located on the inside of the RD hanger

If it has an Italian bottom bracket it is probably pre 1999. If it is a medium to large frame and has a 1 inch headtube it is probably 2002 or earlier. They used 1 inch head tubes in the small frames a little later than most.
