Can anybody tell me the difference between the Sram Shift and brake Cables sets - There seems to be 3 differant levels ??

I have a set of 2013 Sram Red shifters that came with black cables and I'm going to buy White shift and brake cables.

Pro with Gore?

Slickwire

Gore RideOn cables are a sealed cable system that includes liners. They say it reduces friction. They're expensive, but they work well.

Go to a decent bike shop and get Jagwire 5mm der and brake housing and some METAL ferrules.

Gore, BTW-is gone from the cable market, no mas from sram..poor idea anyway, IMHO

Hmmm.........the Sram site is still listing the Pro Gore Brake and Shifter as current 2013 stock, otherwise the only other choice is the Sram slickwire

I have been using Yokozuna Reaction cables w/ Sram Red (old version) with excellent results.

Me too. Same setup, same results. Yokuzuna are really good cables, highly recommended.
