The early results only list the top 10:

1. Gutierez Palacios (Banesto)
2. Rich (Gerolsteiner)
3. Pinotti
4. Schmidt
5. ARMSTRONG

LA was 29 seconds back from the winner.

No sign of Ullrich.

I can't wait for the interviews/quotes on this one.

Ulrich in 31st place, 1:35 back. Maybe he's TOO skinny.

Jan Ullrich was not concerned about losing time to Armstrong, as he was more interested in testing out his new time trial machine. "Everything ran according to plan," he said. "We have to adjust a few more details. I have to feel good on the bike if I want to go fast. Thus it was important to test the time trial machine in competition. I certainly didn't ride at 100 percent." -- http://www.cyclingnews.com/road.php?id=road/2004/mar04/murcia04/murcia042

is this talk or the real deal? if this is true and he was not all out and only 1'35" down...
