Kirk:

We made an 83cm X 80cm for Mike Jaminski (Center for the Hornets at the time). I could easily ride inside the front triangle. Fit him like a glove. In a way, it kinda' fit me as well. Just not so good.

Really, this guy appears to have the same measurements I do (inseam and sleeve length). Since my cranks are much longer and I have a 2 degree sloping TT, I only have a 67.5 cm Seat tube and a 62.5 TT (with 130 stem). I'm just trying to do the math to figure out how this thing would fit. French fit single speed?

It says on the listing, "I have a steel Serotta and a Ti Zinn custom made for me"....ok, is this somebody we know here?

Where's William,

I think we found his cross frame!

I could ride that with a 110 stem on it (shhhhh! Don't tell the Jerk). I would also only have about 9cm of post showing too.

DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT...it ain't me. What a freak

Kirk, what is the TT? Looks like you wielded several Ti baseball bats together. Pretty cool.

I have a friend who is 6'7" and he rides a Seven Ti that is pretty similar in dimensions. He is a pretty good rider. He inquired with some steel makers who told him that tubes in that size would be difficult, if not impossible to obtain. Apparently it can be done.

I have tried, but cannot ride his bike. I cannot fit inside the triangle and the top tube is too high. Cannot pedal it.

The cross brace on that thing seems pretty well conceived as well as somehow making it seem less out of proportion.

My friend's Seven has very large diameter tubes. It is the first bike he has ever had that really fit pretty well and he is living proof that customs are needed for some people.

But the TT is still too long...Picky, picky, picky :p Okay, how about this one (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7204431196&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1) instead?

TT needs to be 50...

And I only paid 450 for my last CSi frame and fork....and it was in MUCH better condition than that one..

C'mon Keith, you KNOW I can be picky...

Wow, $450 for a CSi frame and fork -- that's a deal! I will be surprised if this one on eBay sells, based on the condition and price. BTW, how do you know the TT isn't 50cm

The bike was a great deal. Fellow club member who wanted to see it go to a good home. The price was the on the low side of what used CSis were going for at the time. The former owner liked the bike so much that he later bought it back from me for what I paid for it. So I got a season or so of riding a Serotta for free.

Just and eyeball guess on that TT...It looks like the top tube is around equal to the down tube.

Besides, there's no way I'd pay 700 for that frame in that condition (I'm all about style...it would need a repaint)...250 tops, then I could afford paint.
